What are we looking for?

Quite simply – the cream of the crop!  You will already be familiar with online shopping!

You’ll be bright, ambitious, determined to succeed, with a good eye for detail and someone who generally likes to 'get involved'. English language will be one of your strengths with an ability to communicate clearly through descriptive writing.  An interest in Gaming, Collectables, Toys, Sport, IT, The Outdoors would be great too.

You will be working alongside experienced professionals within the Buying department of an exciting and vibrant On-Line Retailer. This is a rare opportunity to gain a foot on the ladder of one of the most exciting, rewarding and varied professions within the fastest growing industry.

Duties to include:

  • Product Customer Order Support
  • Sourcing and creating product descriptions
  • Provide General Admin Support to the Buying team

Like any other apprenticeship, you will be employed by a company and will spend the majority of your time in their office doing a proper job. You will receive on site training and support from your employer and through monthly visits from your tutor. When you’re ‘at work’ you’ll be working as part of your company’s team but also be set tasks (homework if you like) to show you’re learning and to provide evidence for your assessors.

Entry requirements:

Minimum Grade C or above at GCSE in Maths, English Language and ICT.
